For the fourth time, the organising team of the ROSE challenge has given the 4 weeding robots an appointment in the field for the evaluation tests.

For this second evaluation campaign, the field meeting again took place at the INRAE experimental site in Montoldre (Allier) from 12 to 23 October.

Despite unfavourable weather conditions for crop preparation (very dry until the end of September) and crop development (relatively cold October), the meeting postponed from June to October for health reasons has been organized.

The results are still being analysed and will enable the organisers to evaluate the weeding robots individually and the progress of the teams’ research work since the beginning of the challenge.

The next and final meeting of the ROSE challenge will take place in June 2021 for the third and final evaluation campaign.
