Launch of the dry-run evaluation campaign: first field meeting of 5 June 2018

11 June 2018

After five months of discussion and collaboration, ROSE Challenge organisers, LNE and Irstea, and the four project teams have set out the evaluation plan for the first dry-run campaign, also known as the dummy campaign.

This first campaign will last for one year, and will be used to test the evaluation protocol defined and identify and correct any deficiencies or anomalies. The evaluation will also aim to validate the comparison tools put in place by the challenge organisers, such as experimental plots, field data, etc.

The dry-run campaign is made up of three field meetings.

The first field meeting took place on Tuesday 5 June 2018. The meeting included a visit by the participants to the experimental plots located at the AgroTechnoPôle on the Irstea site in Montoldre, in the Allier region of France.
